Worker Guidelines
Effective: November 7, 2026
Show your skills accurately
Describe the services you actually offer, your service area, prices, years of experience and availability honestly. Upload photos you own or have permission to display. Do not claim credentials you do not hold.
Licensing and legal requirements
Skill Link Worldwide welcomes workers with different experience levels, including apprentices and experienced workers who do not hold a license. However, some work legally requires a license, permit, insurance or qualified supervision. You must comply with the rules where the job takes place and must not perform regulated work without required authorization. Profile credential choices are self-reported and not verified by the platform.
Work safely and professionally
Agree on scope, price, materials, schedule and change orders before starting. Follow appropriate safety standards and building codes. Treat customers respectfully, communicate delays promptly and do not accept jobs you cannot safely or legally perform.
Bookings and reviews
Respond to requests accurately. Only mark work finished when it is actually complete. Do not pressure customers for favorable reviews or post fake ratings. Reviews should describe genuine completed services.
Payment safety
In-platform payments are not active. Never request passwords, payment-card numbers or other sensitive account details through Skill Link messages. When payments launch, workers will receive updated fee and payout terms.
Concerns
